E KOMO MAI and Be Happy

September Drawings

Rudy is only 5 years old. Recently he's really started to enjoy expressing himself through his drawings. I love the details that he includes in each of his pictures. I also love how unique his artwork is and how each drawing has a story.

"Him is scared cause he is running away fast and him wants to go to his Mommy's house. And Him is hungry."

"Him name is Squeeky because he squeeks at people, that's how he talks."

"Him's name is Shapes."

"Some kids are jumping and two are not. And one is standing on stilts and one is saying, "I can jump that high." And one is standing and looking at all the kids. Daddy has triangle eyes and him has yellow teeth and him has red hair."

These next two drawings are done by Rudy's good friend Keenin. He too is 5 years old. His amazing details in his drawings just fascinate me! Guess who he drew...

Did you guess Batman?

Did you guess Spider-Man?
Before Keenin colored in his drawing he drew each line on Spider-Man's costume!

Zaya is our big 3 year old. She loves to draw ever since she could hold a pen (about 18 months old. Here are a few of her drawings and stories this month.

"The little kid likes to ride her bike so she is just happy. She wants to get bubble gum so she is nice. So she is playing with her brother and her brother is crying. Her sister is being careful to her brother so she is sharing it so everyone can be happy so everyone is happy and mommy and daddy are happy so she gets her bubble gum." (Purple guy with four eyes...) "That's inky man."
