When two opposites meet, one wants noodles the other wants a sandwich. Put them together and you have a perfect meal.

The Mongolian Marriage Symbol
The Mongolian Marriage Symbol has become a theme for the Pukahi Home. It represents the bond between husband and wife as each must give of themselves whole-heartedly to each other, even to their core. It stands for equality, as they both learn their roles in life. Although they must support each other 100% of the time, limits must be set. Limits or bounds are not overstepped in the more difficult times in marriage because pride, honor, and self-respect must remain intact. The symbol may not represent all the qualities of a perfect marriage. In fact, the one thing not represented is LOVE. That's because LOVE must exist before the symbol is to exist. The symbol is simply a reminder that we as imperfect people must hold strong and fast to our differences in each other to make greater meaning in life.
Love and Aloha,
Ruth and Hiram Kahana
